Why?

We are using “SUMO Person Account“, so every time we create a “Customer” SUMO creates the “contact record” and creates an “account” by the same name.  Since the “account” in this case is useless, I would like to prevent users from navigating to it?  Therefore, I can make it so when a user clicks on an account by the same name as a contact, then it redirects the user to the contact record.

How?

Create a new Customer (Contact). (Click the Contacts tab and then click the New button. Ensure to specify the following: Customer record type, Is Personal Acct, phone, email, and address. Once the record is created ensure that it was created as a person account.

Important
Click on the associated account name (same as the contacts name) and ensure it redirects you back to the contact instead of going to an Account. Create three more customers for testing in the following steps.

Resolution
